design-africa was created by graphic designers who love Africa and its rich heritage of graphic resource materials. Africa throbs with an inherent deep vitality and a rich spirituality that is embedded in the psyche of its people and is expressed in its vibrant yet often subtle designs.

We would like to than the many people who have contributed with ideas, designs and support. The bulk of the design work was done by two people. We, Anton & Merle Scholtz, are a husband & wife team that are enthusiastic about being African. In this site we have drawn on the vast cultural heritage that is available to us and we have tried to express our heritage in ways that others can use.
